Red Clover

Of all the wildflowers in the front garden 'lawn' I think the red clover, Trifolium pratense, is my favourite. Here's one flower with a bee for my wildflower week entry. The front of the house is in the background. Thank you Nicoiseannie and ApolloFly.  

Thank you for all your kind birthday wishes for my now 10 year old granddaughter.  June is a really busy birthday month in this family and today is my daughter's big day. This evening she and her two brothers are joining us for a celebration meal. We don't often spend time just the five of us these days and this will be a treat.
