Birthday boy!

Rob’s birthday! We had a great day out. After some heavy rain at breakfast time we set off for Lyme Regis. First stop the fossil museum which was fascinating with a huge collection of  many fossils from around the world.
Then lunch at the Black Dog Tearoom where Bonnie was made very welcome! The food was really excellent, including cake, well it was his birthday…!
Then we went down to the ammonite beach. There are some huge fossils in the rocks, including a pavement completely covered in them. Bonnie now loves playing in the waves but unfortunately she lost concentration and thought she was lost. She started to run off back the way we had come…fortunately finally she turned round and came pelting back! Much relief felt by all!
A really brilliant day out!
