Wound up in Wexford

White alstroemeria

In the morning, I took the mini-quilt to the sewing group.  I did get some quilting done, but looking at and drooling over other folks work was great, and the chat was wide ranging.  After sewing for a couple of hours, we repaired to a coffee shop to eat, drink and continue chatting.

Then I did the supermarket shopping.

At home, a quick wander around the garden to find a blip.  I tend to think of alstroemeria as quite tall flowers, suitable for cutting, but this one seems to be a dwarf.  The flowers are very pretty, but very close to the ground.  Maybe we should consider putting it into a pot?

In the evening, band practice.
