Pontoon #10

Oh Lord I can’t remember what I did – apart from waste way too much time down at the pontoons. A tap bracket has mysteriously sheared off. And such is the design of our water piping that it’s impossible to shut off the leaking pipe without turning the whole system off. So, the water is off and I’ve ordered up replacement parts whilst learning how strangely plumbing parts are measured. Inside diameters. Outside diameters. The British Standard Pipe (BSP) system. And what is MDPE pipe anyway? 
We do have a plumber amongst our members but he’s the old boy who I think is still in hiding after the Anstruther trip and realising that sailing’s not for him so I've let him be.
