20 years married!

We went to an Italian restaurant nearby called Bread and Water...  and Steven, who loves to joke, showed me the name of the restaurant while I was taking his photo, quite literally, ha! We rarely go out to eat, so it was a treat, plus the food there is delicious. They still serve the roasted artichoke appetizer in a lemony caper sauce we love and we were delighted to find they served "Mocktails" -a cocktail with no alcohol! All a great release during this wild time trying to keep up with my mom. A friend who I hadn't spoken to since April, asked me how my mom was doing and this is how I replied: 

So many things have happened to mom... May 10, she fell while at Inspired Living and broke her hip....at ER discovered she had Covid. Was released to a temporary rehab that could accommodate covid isolation, 3 days later to the ER again, she had pneumonia and anemia. Released to the Rehab where she is now, on May 21. On Sunday, she fell and broke her wrist! Now it's juggling hip and wrist drs appointments and a gyn Dr tomorrow as X-rays done for the hip in ER showed a large mass in her pelvic area... Yikes. But we are here, together and doing it... and mom has been a trooper. Phew. Good thing I have my sister and husband and I'm thankful for your listening ear and your kindness.
