Mount Ararat

A standout day as we drove the long way round from Dilijan to Yeveran the capital of Armenia. We crossed the Selim Pass on the Silk Road stopping to look at one of the oldest, 1332, caravanserai where traders would rest, an impressive field of Khachkars/cross stones at Noratus, a village dominated by nesting white storks, and finally a magnificent view across the border with Turkey to Mount Ararat, the National and sacred symbol of Armenia.
Extra is the Khor Virap monastery where Gregory the Illuminator was imprisoned.
Still no bag.
