The Olive Tree

Mid morning we drove from our villa in Kolieri (Ithaca, Ionian Islands, Greece) the half hour to Vathi (capital) to have a look around the shops and enjoy a coffee. It was about 33 + C

Just along the lane from our villa are hundreds of Olive Trees but the one I've photographed I like a lot as it's at a junction and has a very old rusted greek sign that is no longer legible. Ideal for this week's W-I-D-E on Wednesday Challenge of 'Organic/from nature' hosted by StevenG.

We enjoyed a good couple of hours on Skinos Beach, our first time there. We saw the Villa Madonna stays at (normally July) and it's a stunning location. Mrs BB wants to return again tomorrow!

We're having an evening in with another salad and will watching the latest installment of Clarkson's Farm!
