Green
In the absence of a balcony garden, if I have an every day happy place when I'm in Edinburgh, it must be Pilrig Park.
In contrast to the rubbish weather yesterday, today has been sunny and warm.
I haven't had masses of energy today but just about enough to see me through a meeting and then our annual school research and impact celebration in the Playfair.
Home straight afterwards on a couple of buses to a healthy snack tea of avocado and cheese. Since then I've been roosting on my chair.
I'm surprised that there isn't a nest in the metal beams above the balcony. But there are certainly large piles of small twigs which the pigeons have gathered. I keep clearing them up....
