Wicklow Gap
This morning I rendezvoused with Rosaleen from Wicklow Wells and fortified with strong coffee, she gave me a speedy tour of some of the holy wells in her area. This is St Kevin country and all wells seem to have some association with him, mostly doted on the many pilgrim paths leading to Glendalough.
I eventually came home cross -country via the Wicklow Gap - amazing rugged scenery though previously I had been impressed by all the forests in Wicklow.
I arrived home around 7pm, over 800km on the clock and absolutely wrecked but a great couple of days. I was in my bath by 9pm , asleep by 10 and I reckon I got 10 hours sleep!
