First job was to get what I needed for this evening’s meal out of the freezer. While the door was open I emptied and repacked two drawers to make sure there was nothing at the back that I’d forgotten about.

By the time I went out for a walk the weather had improved a lot. Just did the circuit past the police station to the river and back via the park and shops. I pass two football pitches on this route and it was the second that provided my blip.

I popped into an outdoor equipment shop for a camp cutlery set (to keep in the car) and came out not only with that but two very useful freebies.

In the afternoon a bit of garden tidying at the front and a chat with some neighbours.
