How To Be Booksmart About Library Chic, Maidstone

Both of today's images were taken outside Maidstone Library on our way home from town. It's not exactly the most aesthetically pleasing building in the world so my main image was taken from a lower viewpoint to give a sense of scale with the bare branches of some nearby trees added to make it look like it is being slowing enveloped by them.
My brother liked the book return repository because of the twin signs and the patina of age and wear that it has accrued over the passing years. We felt we had to work a bit harder to capture today's library based "chic' after being inspired to view things differently by perusing some of our collection of photography books over the last few days. So maybe we're actually booksmart after all! :-)
