Well, that was a day..
Ben visiting the new home
and meeting more staff..

The day started very badly with a massive incident over the weekly plan that the current carers had failed to send over.  I think Ben's baseline is currently heightened so he handled it worse than usual but it was emphatically not a good morning.  He calmed down eventually and we picked up the pieces.  I had to have him at the home for 11am so I tentatively drove over but he was good as gold for the duration.  He loved the house, the garden and his bedroom.  He had fun in the sensory room and obviously the photo is him enjoying the sunken trampoline.. The staff were great, really warm and lovely and they changed his insulin pump and gave him some insulin via needles for practice too.  
It felt like a good visit but I was shattered after the way the day had started.  I had a call with the social worker to keep her up to speed and popped to the shops, then walked Leo, met Older Teen on his way back from an exam, made some salad for tea and then gave up and had a nap!  I've sent some other emails and spoken to my mum but my energy levels are pretty low, so that's all for today!
