Up north
Our overnight stay in the van last night was an old station yard. The steam train is due in later in the morning but the volunteer workers were on duty early. The sound of the angle grinder was a rather rude awakening!
But we were off to the local Parkrun. I’ve run this one before - a nice out and back with great views of the Cairngorms. A little shower of rain just caught us at the end.
We headed off further north and along to the Banffshire coast - an area we haven’t explored before.
Stopped for a look in Cullen (home of Cullen Skink) - a lovely beach and views from the village down through a viaduct.
Our final stop was a little house for the week in Inverboyndie, near Banff.
