Hooded oriole

I think he came looking for oranges but there weren't any out for him.  So he settled for trying to get some nectar from the hummingbird feeder. 
It's getting hot, with triple digit temperatures. It's not much of a surprise because June is typically our hottest month.  The official start of the monsoon is only a week away but that doesn't really mean we'll start getting thunderstorms yet. It usually picks up in July.

The ball game was on this morning so I watched that then went out for an afternoon breakfast, which is served until they close at 2 pm. I was going to get a haircut but the wait was over an hour.  I'll try later.  I really, really need one. In the meantime, I'll finish what I have been putting off around the house...the stuff I usually do on Saturday!
