Another foxglove
Another day around the garden.
I hung out a load of washing first thing, and as I did so, remembered my mum getting into trouble from a neighbour for hangjng washing in a shared garden on a Sunday.
Then I had another weeding session on the ditch. It's getting easier, and looking good. In a month or so it should look even better, as there are some young mullein plants, and some evening primrose.
I scattered honesty, teasel, and more foxglove seeds onto the soil I had weeded - but they'll not produce flowers this year.
Most of the foxgloves on the ditch are bog standard purple ones, grown from seed. But I bought a few young ones earlier this year at the garden centre, and they are more interesting colours. Will they seed true? Who knows.
W meanwhile was weeding around our young trees. Weeds are growing as vigorously as ever.
