Wound up in Wexford

Hibernian Orchestra

This morning W got the urge to bake, so he made rusks, and I helped him to make a batch of pikelets.

We then drove to Waterford.  A visit to the Asian Supermarket to buy Dal and other items.  Then we parked up on the Quays, being lucky enough to score a Pay and Display ticket from someone who was leaving.

Some shopping, a quick cup of coffee/tea sitting outside in the late afternoon sunshine; and then we enjoyed a lovely concert from the Hibernian Orchestra (with Mairéad Hickey playing the Sibelius Violin Concerto) in Christ Church Cathedral.  We were almost sitting amongst the 1st violins.

And afterwards, a pleasant, though not by any stretch exceptional, Indian meal, before coming home.
