Just one more belly rub please

Our boy just loves attention as you can see.

Another busy day which started earlier than usual for a Sunday as it was Comrades Day.  I listened more than watched as I had cooking to do. One pot of tattie soup, and a pot of butternut are now ready to warm the cockles as our coming temperatures are going into minus figures.

I also prepared the main for our lunch with Sue.  Brown butter, mushroom, herb and brie chicken, served with mashed tatties and steamed broccoli.  It was delicious even if I do say so myself.  Sue made gooey brownies served with ice cream for pud.

We had a great outing with the pooches but had one incident when a beautiful ginger cat poked its head through the fence right at the spot where MrW was snuffling, it made a sharp retreat up a tree as MrW looked a little bemused trying to figure out just what happened.

The rest of our Sunday was taken up with the Men’s final at RG. What a fantastic match that kept us all on the edge of our seats.
