Woodbine
This morning we went to Farfield Mill at Sedbergh which is a wonderful restored mill full of artist studios, exhibitions and looms, turbines and all other gorgeous art and textiles. It was way pre Covid since we’d last been and I throughly enjoyed it.
We then headed to Arnside but the heavens opened as we parked so we sat and watched the rain for a while and decided to head back to the caravan.
No rain once were back so after a coffee we went for a walk. MrH’s knee hinders us walking too far but we did a steady circular route incorporating the River Kent and part of the defunct Lancaster Canal. There was some stunning honeysuckle, dog roses and amazing meadows.
Does any one have any clues about the circular edging stones in the wall along the route of the canal. (See extra).
Whilst not the best weather we have dodged the showers and we both feel invigorated by having a lovely walk - though Mr H is paying for it already!
