Red Arrows
I was way too late to get a ticket to the RAF Cosford Airshow today, but on a whim I headed to Weston Park and climbed to the Knoll Tower, which has a high vantage point over the aerodrome. I wasn't the only one there, but I was the only one with a long lens to capture the action. I hadn't appreciated how high I would be, and how low the Red Arrows would be flying in formation over the crowds.
I took many images, but it was this one, with the planes at about the same level as I was standing, and flying towards me, that took my fancy as shot of the day. A pity the weather wasn't better, blue skies and sunshine might have made it even more spectacular.
Other than that I met a charity worker at L's Mom's house to collect more items. We now have light at the end of the tunnel. Just the loft to go and then the furniture.
