For the family

Getting there

Work in the garden has been intermittent due the weather and my lethargy, but I woke today to find B working on the edge of the grass areas. They hadn’t been finished off when we had the paths done at the end of last year.

That was a surprise as he’s not the gardener in the family, but maybe I’ve twittered on about it enough for him to remember!!!

We were expecting a special event at 3.37 this afternoon. RAF Cosford Airshow was on today and the Red Arrows were doing a display. I saw on my phone that they would be returning to RAF Waddington in Lincolnshire and the route planned. It was via Uttoxeter. The weather was a bit grim with low clouds.

I was with B in his study looking at something when the familiar roar passed over the house and the aircraft disappeared into the distance.

They have been a special part of our life for many years so we have lots of memories to recall. Lucky us !!!

I’ve just realised that this is a special blip day. I’m a bit of a ‘tail end Charlie’ these days, but do try to keep up to date with blipping. This is a great place to be with super people, I do value the friendship and support that is shared. Thank you everyone:0))))
