A productive day

The weather forecast was dreadful and it was true to form.

R collected us at 9.30am to go down to the gym. B & R had a good session whilst I met more new people as our timing was slightly different.

B & I had a dreadful night’s sleep last night. We discussed it with R and decided that we are having dinner too late in the evening and that we will try having it at 6pm.

We were just finishing it about 6.30 when she turned up unexpectedly!! She was pleasantly surprised to find that we (or should I I say that I) had heeded her advice and got cracking)

She stayed for a couple of hours and we sorted out all sorts of things that needed attention. It was a most satisfying session. There are still one or two things to sort out, but I must make a note, so that I don’t forget. She has a busy schedule coming up during the next couple of months and will be away from home intermittently.

The school fete was on this afternoon. I didn’t go down as it was outdoors and very wet, also seeing all our creations being sold for a pittance would not be pleasant.
