Autumn?
…no winter. It is only 5 degrees at the moment and almost dark outside at 4.45pm. It is also showering, probably snowing in the surrounding hills and mountains. This hosta has suddenly gone a bright yellow colour and looks pretty, the ones in the garden have long gone into hibernation.
I haven’t completed much today, even my sudoku is causing some issues. I did some more tidying up, stationery today. I have enough to set up an office. Bob has too so I suggested we put everything together so they are all in one place. Sounds way too sensible.
Yesterday afternoon we started watching The Survivors on Netflix. Is is based on the Jane Harper novel which we didn’t enjoy as much as her other books. The series was good, even better than the book and we watched the whole lot, something I rarely do. I was sewing up the baby blanket so got some craft done as well. It shows off the beautiful Tasmanian scenery.
We had leftovers for dinner after going out the previous evening. Maddy was our waitress and Max is doing some cooking now (even though he is still at school and just works there part time). He did Bob’s calamari and we both had chicken dishes which were so big we bought half home. Made an easy tea. They both love working there and have huge smiles when we go in. Max was sending me text messages from the kitchen to see if we liked the meal.
