The Marine Layer Burned Off

And it became a glorious morning! We had a terrific breakfast at our Bed and Breakfast. There happened to be a large (60 people) weekend-long kayaking class on the Columbia and the adjacent slough while we were visiting. This morning we could see some the class from our B&B window which was fun.

We went out for a good 2 mile walk before heading over to see our friends at their campground. The marine layer lifted as we headed back to the B&B. We spent a bit of time with our friends and then tried out their eBikes, which were fantastic! We're going to try renting a couple to go on a ride or two before we decide to buy them...they're awfully expensive, but gosh what an easy ride!

Now home to a very warm Portland - currently 86F with 96F forecast for tomorrow. An inside sort of day!
