It is apparent now that Peanut is not coming back. She is not the kind of cat that would go on a walkabout for this long. She just isn’t. So we try to adjust to our lives without her.

It doesn’t matter what family member we lose, we grieve. It’s like Katie said in my blip a month ago, “You never really stop grieving, you just learn how to carry it.”

Thank you all for your stars, hearts, and warm hearts and thoughts of kindness in our loss. It has helped us in these difficult days. It has been so hard. Thank you for understanding that I will take a while to be back to your blips.

Hard to believe that this blip was just a week ago. I miss her so. I had this song in my head all day, and it seemed so sad.
