Crinodendrons
The weather this morning was much better than I expected so after a bit of a long lie Fouter and I took to the road.
First stop was the supermarket for toothpaste. I don't know what happened to my last tube but there was none in the bathroom. I looked in sis's room but the tubes she uses have the most horrible tastes so I used the merest scraping.
Then it was on to Cambo Estate for a walk in the woodland and the walled garden. Plenty of colour but the flowers that attract the butterflies are not yet in flower.
Crinodendron Hookerianium is also known as the Chilean Lantern Tree. It grows near streams and in very humid and shady places. The Cambo walled garden is none of those.
