Caiplie Caves
The Caves of Caiplie, are a cave system on the Fife Coastal path between Anstruther and Crail. Fouter and I walked from Cellardyke and that was quite far enough!
The caves were used by farmers to house livestock and as a doocot. In the 9th century they were reputedly the site of early Christian worship.
The path was busy with walkers and dogs of all shapes, sizes and colours and of course Fouter had to speak to them all.
I was so pleased to,get back to,the car and rest my weary feet.
