I'm down to three Japanese acers now. This is the largest and stands in front of the porch window, so can be seen from the cottage, unlike the other two.

Gene Vincent - Pretty Pearly (recorded 3 August 1959, Capitol Tower, Hollywood CA)
Recently I've been replaying The Finbarr Rock'n'Roll Party CD series and on this day it was Vol. 10, which opens with this obscure Gene Vincent track, originally released only on a German EP in 1960. The sax is played by Jackie Kelso from the Johnny Otis Show, Sandy Nelson is on drums and the chorus is by the Eligibles.
