A Bridge In Blue and Ravenous Pigeons, Maidstone

Today's images were again taken in Maidstone, this time down by the riverfront, on a quick pitstop after our usual Sunday food shop and customary pint at The Horseshoes.
It was a gloriously sunny day and my brother remembered from a previous visit that in these conditions one of the road bridges over the River Medway benefits from some fantastic reflected light off the water when you walk underneath it. For the main image I wanted to get a slightly different perspective so I crouched down to attempt to capture the sweeping curve of the underside of the bridge but didn't realise that my camera was on the wrong colour temperature setting and it came out with a very blue hue but I decided not to correct it as I quite liked the effect!
We then continued out walk along the riverside path below the Archbishops Palace where a substantial population of seemingly permanently ravenous pigeons gather in the hope of some free food - as can be seen in my brother's extra.
