A little walk in Taylor Park
Drove to Taylor Park and had a bit of a walk there after a trip to Wynsors, Morrisons and Mum's.
Two blokes living in a tent in the park right on the main thoroughfare (you can see the tent just past the cycle hub shed).
Terry's consultant told him this morning that he cannot go home before Tuesday as it's not safe and as things are at present if he went home it could go either way; he could improve or it could go the other way and be catastrophic because they cannot do anything if he is not in the hospital. He said CT scan is booked for tomorrow and will be discussed at the MDT meeting on Tuesday. They may insert a drain to drain some of the fluid (abdomen or pancreas or where, Terry was not sure what they meant). He may still need to be admitted to the Royal Liverpool hospital. Anyway, he isn't going anywhere before Tuesday.
Dr Igbal came to try to site a cannula this afternoon while I was visiting but was unsuccessful so he said they can do it in CT scan department. Terry asked him about today's blood test and he said it was quite a bit better than yesterday's.
While I was visiting one of the Quality Matrons (don't get me started on NHS waste and non-jobs) came around with her clipboard and asked Terry about his hospital stay. The questions were worded carefully but I was surprised at his answers as he didn't have anything negative to say about any of his care except that it's noisy at night. Unbelievable! Maybe he doesn't want to rock the boat as the care he is getting now is much better. He is too nice!
Was going to do a bit of weeding after a brew when I got home but while I was having my brew my daughter spoke to me on the phone for almost one and a half hours (my ear was getting hot) from on holiday in Thailand! She probably would have carried on if I hadn't had to go (my ear wouldn't take any more ha ha).
Updated everyone re Terry by text / whatsapp messages.
I've spoken to Terry early evening and about an hour ago to say goodnight.
