Night at Monet's gardens

So after being very rude and brushing off my girlfriend for a month now, we final went to see Monet at the National Gallery of Victoria (NGV).

Friday nights the NGV open the gallery up for night viewings. It was a fabulous night looking at Monets masterpieces (water lilies) and seeing some of Monet's 'darker' compositions, which were produced when his cataracts were terrible, the pop-up presentations about gardening and Capability Brown, live DJs and band and of course the French cafe.

Good way to top off a terrible week!
