Number147

Wednesday

The festival organisers have been trying out their Tannoy system this morning. I heard a weather forecast and a wish for a good day, loud and clear!

Forecast for Saturday is grim but we plan to visit on Sunday.

Hetty and I had a different walk this morning. Still through the Jubilee woods but we explored the fields of Rowde.

We saw deer, found a sun bleached white bone, hopefully from a large non human and a rusted horse shoe.

I had a fleeting fantasy that I had happened upon relics from the Battle of Roundway. But I doubt it and left as found.

The poppies and bench are in the park along the road.

Apparently it's currently 13°c but I feel hot so I don't believe it.
