Not what you’d call sitting out on deck weather today but we did get a little bit of sunlight in the early evening and saw some dolphins swimming along by the side of the ship.
We enjoyed a leisurely start and an excellent breakfast this morning before heading off for the ferry (1pm crossing). We stopped off briefly at a local port but it was too wet to get out of the car. Once we were on the boat we bought Sunday’s Observer and spent the afternoon in our cabin reading it (I’ve missed reading newspapers over the last few weeks). Annoyingly we only have about an hour’s free WiFi until we arrive back in Portsmouth (tomorrow at about 9pm) so I’m posting an early blip. That said it’s good for me to have some detox time, I’ve downloaded a couple of books to read and we also have TV to watch and a selection of films. The best thing about being on the ferry is the excellent French food!
