The Fleet mosaic

It’s not been a great day weather wise but we managed a short walk around the block late afternoon with MIL.
This is a replica of a mosaic that used to grace the side of a launderette next to the old Fleet Community Centre in Gospel Oak. The original was unable to be saved when the community centre was pulled down for a development of 72 new homes. Jim Anderson, the creator, set about making a replica of the mosaic due its popularity and it’s now in a much more accessible position and can be enjoyed by all.
