Annual exhibition

I am really struggling with jetlag - I slept well but woke up at 3am, finally dozed off again at 5am and could not get up this morning as it felt like the middle of the night to me. I am also feeling nauseous and sometimes feel the need to rush to the  bathroom as I think I am going to be sick - I have never been this badly affected by jetlag before.

This morning I finally got up at 8am and had to quickly get ready as I was due at the art and cultural venue where the annual exhibition of our camera club is being held. We had to hang our images, and then we stayed to have a coffee at the cafe. This is a shot of the exhibition with the cafe beyond that, it is a lovely space that is a grade II listed building that was a former chapel, and is the only remaining building of the historic Epsom psychiatric hospitals site. You may be able to see three of my images on the left.

I had a quiet day at home after that, clearing my cupboards of things I don't wear (it's an ongoing job!) and then I made a chilli for supper. We are going to the opening evening of the exhibition, which the mayor attends, and as it is early evening we will eat supper before we go.

Gavin had a checkup with the nurse at our local GP surgery, she is happy that the wound has finally healed and he no longer needs to have a dressing over it.

Still no news of Tommy's suitcase!
