Art in Motion
This morning, I had the chance to photograph the bronze sculpture of wild animals riding a scooter, currently on display in Paternoster Square near St Paul's Cathedral. Its the latest whimsical creation by Gillie & Marc - Go, Wildlife, Go.
The sculpture features an elephant, giraffe, lion, koala, and other wild animals cast in bronze, playfully scooting their way through the City.
According to the artist, this sculpture is more than just a playful piece of public art - its part of a movement - it carries a powerful message about the threats facing wildlife today. From poaching to habitat loss, the work draws attention to the urgent need to protect vulnerable species. It's a striking reminder that art can be joyful and thought-provoking.
