We have a kiwi fruit plant. It is huge, and covered in beautiful flowers.

The name is strange, because kiwi is the name of a flightless bird in New Zealand. The fruit has somehow inherited the name from the bird. In New Zealand the fruit has the name Chinese gooseberry. Well, it's half right. It's not a gooseberry, but it's Chinese.

What's in a name? As Shakespeare said ""Fruit by any other name would taste as sweet""

Hopefully, we will see fruit later in the year.
