A garden dinner

Dinner at Kathy’s in St John’s Wood tonight as there was an American director she wanted us to meet. It was a lovely day, felt almost fully summer.  V and I met in central London first and had a cocktail on the roof of The Courthouse by Liberty’s before getting  taxi to the dinner. 

I loved the sky over the table and the fact we were sitting outside.  Kathy’s little face peeking at the camera. 


It was lively and fun and the food and company was brilliant. They’d pressed us to stay but because of Woody and tomorrow we headed home.  We got an Uber to the station but got snarled in traffic and so got the driver to take us home.  All in all it was £140, more than we wanted to spend but far cheaper than a hotel.   Arrived home at about 1.30am and in bed by 2am.  Lovely driver and really easy journey.  Expensive day but worth it.
