Perspective

Is disaster too strong a description, I guess that depends on you perspective.
On Sunday the lights in my tropical fish tank failed, for me a bit of a nuisance: no light + warm water = algae.
For the fish possible disaster.
I was reliably informed that the transformer; “rarely if ever fails” so I ordered a new LED light, not cheap. As you have already guessed it was the transformer at half the price of the light.
I picked one up today from the aquarium centre and brought forward my monthly tank maintenance, messy but necessary.
After all these years there is something comforting about the soft light in the corner of a darkened lounge with the soft burble of the air bubbles passing up the centre tube.

I also fitted in a trip down town to pick up Joshua’s pasty’s and saffron cake and finished my packing.
In bed by 9:00pm ready for the long drive tomorrow.
