More canal action.

Expecting a miserable day on the weather front, we were relieved to find that the actual weather was not nearly as bad as the forecast. So down the canal we went and it was just fine, quite mild and calm, rather pleasant boating conditions. 
After our bluetit lodgers did a “moonlight flit”, I cleaned out the nest box. No idea just how many chicks there were but thankfully no sad little underdeveloped bodies, just one unhatched egg and a good couple of inches of lovely soft nest material, see today’s extra.
