Warming up

We have been so lucky with the weather today for a 9 mile walk. We enjoyed splendid views and there were not too many people sharing the paths until we came to Chesters' tearoom at Skelwith Bridge.

Arth did pretty well with the 500 metres of ascent and descent but is a bit sore tonight.

I've found out that I can connect to the internet if I sit near the router in the office, so that's what I'm doing.

We have hot water tonight - hooray. I'm not one of those who can enjoy a cold shower - brrr.

This photo was taken after we had walked for about 15 minutes and we stopped to do a few stretches. We did more at the end of the walk - so I'm polishing my halo.
