Something New
Another quiet day, they are becoming the norm. Mrs S to Annie’s early for a ‘Polish’ before we head off on Friday. We the set off for a mothball hunt in the end tracking some down at B&Q.
I briefly stuck my head inside the shed but not a lot to do until the shelving arrives, I’m going look at Joshua’s in his garage and see if his boltless system would be good for me.
My photo today is the Monna Lisa coming alongside County Wharf, I almost did a double take thinking it was Mona Lisa.
She is brand new, built this year and Italian flagged.
A cable layer but capable of a wide range of off shore tasks she is classed as a DP Vessel meaning she uses its own propellers and thrusters, controlled by a computer system, to maintain a fixed position and/or heading, even in the face of environmental forces like wind and currents.
I did want a picture of the Torpoint Ferry laying alongside after her refit, maybe tomorrow night when out on the water.
