Cute Cootling

Firstly, thank you so much for all the wonderful comments, stars and hearts for yesterday's 'Woodpecker and Young' - very much revelling in their popularity, I'm sure :))

I spent the morning with some good friends seeing their gorgeous new home, whilst their son gave my car interior a spring clean - and a very good job he did, too! 
I'd packed a lunch, so, afterwards, I headed back to Abbotsbury swannery to see how the cygnets were doing. There were loads at various stages of development. However, it's the cootling that's my blip, as I find these strange babies utterly fascinating.
