Pink Petunia

We had a message from our internet provider on Wednesday to say they’d traced a fault with our internet and an engineer would sort it out without needing to come in to the house. We hadn’t really noticed any problems.

This morning said engineer knocked on the door to say he couldn’t find a fault outside so could he check everything inside. It was working fine at this point but by the time he’d disconnected everything, reconnected it and carried out tests it wasn’t working at all!

He told us we probably needed a new router, ordered one straight away (to arrive on Monday, so we’d be without internet for the weekend) and left saying that it might start working again if we left it for a while to reconnect itself.

Ten minutes later, he came back to suggest it might be worth doing a factory reset, which he did then dashed off without waiting to see if it worked.

5 minutes later it was working fine so I phoned the company to let them know they didn’t need to send a new router but they said as the order had already gone through- less than 30 minutes ago - it couldn’t be stopped! No wonder costs are going up.

By this time Tess had returned from Keep Fat so we went for a swim to cool off. Old friends of ours, D&S,  who we hadn’t seen for a while were at the pool with their daughter and granddaughter so we ended up having a long chat with them.

This petunia is already blooming well in the garden.
