And the Engine!
So, this is the engine from yesterday's 1928 3L Sunbeam. I am not sure if it's a new engine or the old one that has been refurbished/ serviced/ spruced up. Anyway - it looks pretty spruced up to my untrained eye. It's owner (the chap in yesterday's blip tells me that a Sunbeam car (not this one) reached 203mph in 1927 which was the land speed record at the time. you can read all about it (and a video) here: https://nationalmotormuseum.org.uk/sunbeam-1000hp-restoration-campaign/history-of-the-sunbeam-1000hp/
Apart from this, I've done a load of laundry (this seems to feature a lot but I have to take advantage of the sun being out), talked with builder Gavin who has been rebuilding my gate post and done a fair amount of paperwork (which obs looks no different to yesterday - v frustrating). I've also been "thinking about" and costing a new or a replacement shed, ditto a Velux window (essential) and various driveway repaving. Thinking time seems to take up a lot of time and is not 100% productive. Perhaps I need to make more notes? 8978 steps.
