1928 Sunbeam
So, I was cutting through past the library and Baptist church en route back to my car from the Dr surgery and met this chap with his 1928 Sunbeam. He tells me that it has a 3 litre engine and has been in his family since 1960. he has just finished doing something to the engine (I didn't quite catch that bit) and was about to set off for Chichester (about 60 miles) in order to run it in! What can I say? Apparently he takes bookings for weddings.
After that excitement I popped down to see Penny and Steve and the family for a couple of hours. Irritatingly I managed to cut my fingers with the secateurs. Fingers do bleed a lot don't they! More paperwork and chores this afternoon. The weather has picked up and I have done a load of laundry - washed, dried and ironed. Looking out from my laptop down my lovely garden, it is a beautiful evening.
Onward and upward.
