Crummock Water and Loweswater

Yesterday’s rain cleared away overnight giving us an improving day albeit with quite a strong north westerly.

Bagged two more Wainwrights - Whiteless Pike and Wandope, stunning views all around especially from the summits.

A well earned pint, of Loweswater Gold, crisps and nuts at the Kirkstile Inn was inevitable and rounded off a fine day. The view from the garden of the Inn cannot be bettered.
