Talking About My Wrenovation

Today has been taken up with having the long-awaited wardrobe units installed in my main bedroom. The fitter arrived at 8am and didn’t leave until about 1.30pm. All done now, and I’m very pleased with the result. However, a small bit of paint has been scraped from my newly-decorated ceiling, which is rather annoying. Thankfully no other damage at all to paintwork or carpet - the fitter took his shoes off indoors and did all the cutting and sawing etc outside so as not to make a mess. He did a good job of clearing up too, even vacuuming up all the inevitable little bits of cardboard packaging. I’ve sent off for a Pure Brilliant White tester pot direct from Dulux (weirdly that’s the one shade you can’t get from any DIY shop) to touch in the ceiling. As the paintwork hasn’t had a chance to start yellowing it should match well enough not to notice.

When I opened the end unit, which has shelving top to bottom, I found this little rascal sitting inside waiting for me to look after him :-)
