A Wander Down The High Street

Another day of very changeable weather. One minute sunny and rather warm, the next, cave dark and chucking it down.

I got a bit of admin done and some emails sorted, and contacted the solicitor about sorting out my Mum's finances, such as they are. I was told that someone would call me back but no one has. If I don't hear from them next week I will go elsewhere.

Later I went for a walk down the High Street to get exercise and look for a Blip. I liked this sculpture, which is near a school play ground. (It's half term, so I won't end up on any lists!) I liked the positive words on the leaves, some of which are in other languages and even different alphabets.

I daresay the school included all the native languages of the pupils. Grace's old primary school was on TV for having more nationalities represented amongst the pupils than any other. It was good, as they grew up with friends from different places and learnt tolerance and understanding at a young age. It was amazing how fast the non British children picked up English, including the local accent and slang words.

When Brian came home I had a walk around the Arboretum with him and took another couple of photos there, but I'll stick with Blipping this one.
