The Cat's Back

Mrs L's birthday today. We began with a ten mile hike up and along the Hergest ridge which gives great views across Herefordshire, Shropshire and Powys. This evening we will be going on a bat walk. 

My blip today is looking south-west towards Hay-on-Wye. The ridge on the horizon is the Cat's Back (aka the Black Hill) and Hay Bluff in the Black Mountains on the eastern edge of the Brecon Beacons.
