Oh, Dear
I’m used to seeing our pair of resident bluebirds dive for insects in our backyard but today I was shocked to see a woolly bear caterpillar in Mrs Blue’s beak!! Normally these caterpillars wake up in the spring, eat, then quickly form a cocoon. In two weeks it emerges as an Isabella tiger moth. Mrs Blue was lucky to find it • Another nice day with seasonable temperatures and gusty winds • I did a bit of weeding while MrsP supervised from the deck :) • Peace & Love
